Mommy and Maddie again on her 1st 4th of July

I love my little girl

Maddie is going to be 1 in about a week. I can't believe how time flies. She seems to be this close to walking. She can walk assisted with one of us holding just one of her hands. She mastered the sippy cup and seems to really like the whole milk she's been getting with dinner.
Her 1 year appointment is August 8th so we'll see how much she weighs in at. I think she's slowed down alot in growing. She has four teeth on the top, two more on their way in. She still only has two on the bottom. This month she finally said mommy and I'm so excited!
She's eating alot more finger foods and still a fair amount of purees. We'll be transitioning off formula and the bottle in the very near future. I can't believe how big my little girl has grown. This year flew by. Here are some recent pictures of her.

Smiling behind her beloved paci
Such a sweet little girl
She still loves the remote.

Where to start... Maddie is growing and becoming more of a little girl and less of a baby ever day. She loves to give high fives and play pat-a-cake. She cruises around on furniture and even is letting go for 20 seconds and standing on her own. She throws her arms around DJ and I to give us hugs and for us not to let her go. We started swim lessons a couple weeks ago which she absolutely loves. She was apprehensive for all of 5 minutes and now struggles to get away from me and be on her own. I don't let her go of course. She loves to go for runs with me in her jogging stroller.
