All about puzzles and shape sorters

Maddie is loving shape sorters and puzzles. She is so proud of herself when she finds the right shape. Maybe Santa will bring her some toys like these!

Christmas Pictures

Heather did Maddie's christmas pictures on Saturday and they are great! Maddie did not want to sit still so it was difficult to get good ones, but Heather did a great job with her!

It's December and Maddie's 2nd Christmas is coming up

The holidays are once again exciting in our house. I am so excited about the presents I've gotten her. I can't wait to see her open them. We're not going overboard this year because she is still a bit young and doesn't need alot of toys or clothes anyway. We need to get the house in order so we can decorate and put up the tree. I think she'll love looking at the tree and hopefully not try to knock it over.
I got her a cookie monster doll and some sesame street books which I know she will love.

Maddie's mom-mom bought her this table and chairs set and she'll love it!

And she also got her a toybox which is much needed with all of her toys sitting all over our living room. I'm sure she'll love to go digging and climbing in it!

I'm also having Heather (http://simplylifephotography-byheather.com/ ) take Maddie's christmas picture this weekend so we can use it on our christmas card. I can't wait as she does such a great job. (She did her 1 year pictures as well)

The things I would like to get Maddie for christmas this year:
1. A play kitchen
2. A play purse like one of these

3. A play medical kit

4.  A nice sturdy toy chest

5. A kid sized table and chairs. I've heard ikea has nice ones that I need to go check out
6. She likes Sesame street and Winnie the pooh so I am sure anything along those lines will be favorites

15 months

It's been a while and I need to upload some new pictures. Maddie had her 15 month well visit yesterday and has grown two inches and gained a pound. She is so much fun at this age. Her favorite thing to do is climb on everything including the coffee table. She says 20-30 words her favorites being cookie and no. She loves cookie monster and winnie the pooh. Her books are still a favorite with her new favorite reading partner daddy. She got all four of her 1 year molars in the past month, so sleeping has been occasionally iffy. She is a great sleeper though sleeping from about 6:15 pm till 6 am and taking one nap in the middle of the day.
I can't wait for Maddie's second thanksgiving and second christmas. I feel like maybe she'll be excited to open presents and love the christmas tree.

13-14 months old

Maddie is quite the little ham. She has lots of words now. Her newest are thank you and cookie. All animals are doggies or goggies now. She is trying to go down to one nap a day and almost to only two bottles a day. She really loves most foods these days. She goes to bed all by herself at 7 pm and sleeps very well. She has 6 teeth on top and four on bottom. Her favorite toys are her baby doll, her blocks, and her books which she loves to sit and "read: to herself. Here are some recent pics of her.
