Here are some pics from Maddie's birthday party and from our (brief due to hurricaine Irene) vacation to the Outer Banks. Maddie LOVED the beach and doing fun thing on vacation like mini golfing for the first time and going out for ice cream.

Catching up

We now have a three year old and I'm 8 months pregnant! We struggled with getting pregnant this time so this was all the more special. Maddie is having a little brother due on October 25th. She was pretty upset about it being a boy at first and still occasionally asks for a sister instead. Just last week Maddie became potty trained during the day. I'm so excited and proud of my big girl. She started daycare/preschool full time and absolutely loves it. She had previously been at a babysitters house since 12 weeks old. We loved the babysitter, but Maddie is quite the little spitfire and needed some structure in her life. I'm going to do a few posts of pictures to catch up over the past 9 months.

So much for keeping up with this

I promise I will be updating soon with new pictures. What can I say, its been quite a year. We are expecting a little brother for Maddie in about 6 weeks. I will post later this week with a slew of pictures from the past 9 months and an update with our lives in general.

Long time no post

Well, It's been a while. Maddie is 2 1/2 and can pretty much say anything now. She's learning to count and recognizes numbers between 0-9 and some letters of the alphabet. She started preschool one day a week last week and so far loves it. Here are some pictures from the holidays.

It's been a while

Well, alot has happened since I last posted. Maddie is now two and learning new things every day. We had a rough week in August when Maddie was hospitalized at CHOP with a parapharyngeal (in her neck) abscess that needed surgery and IV antibiotics. It was a horrible week, but Maddie did so well and has been 100% better since. She's such a smart little girl and even has gotten some manners saying, please, thank you and bless you when appropriate. I'm going to add a bunch of pictures from August , September and October to get everyone updated.
